Alanna Daley's expertise is in creating complex information graphics, especially condensing large amounts of information into a single, easily understandable graphic. She has been especially valued for her writing, editing, and proofreading skills, which are uncommon in the graphic designer's field. She is up to date on industry-standard software and stays connected with peers in the design industry through professional affiliations.


WORK EXPERIENCE
Ms. Daley's responsibilities include design and illustration of large publications and data-heavy infographics (i.e. charts, diagrams), designing posters, creating interior signage, branding, performing complex back-end quality control on design staff's work, and enhancing photographic imagery for print or digital use. Her expertise is in working long, complex, data-intensive books, reports, and information graphics. As a writer, Ms. Daley's editorial and copywriting skills are used to proofread copy on design products as well as write sections of white papers based on independent research. She has managed designers, writers, and editors; developed concept and direct initial designs with clients; lead on new projects; supervised design input; advised clients on print buying and production scheduling.
